Voerzio Martini

Voerzio Martini is a young company rooted in a rich history: it represents the continuity of the historic Gianni Voerzio winery in La Morra, a well-established entity in the Langhe since 1986.

Mirko and Federica Martini – known in the area as the "Barolo twins" – took over the company in 2015 (with a change of name over time), combining Gianni Voerzio's decades of experience with their innovative ideas and passion for authentic and contemporary wine. Mirko, an enologist with a degree in viticulture and enology from Alba, meticulously oversees the agronomic management of the vineyards, while Federica – with a background in gastronomic sciences – handles the commercial side, hospitality, and winery tours, making every experience warm and familiar.

Located in the heart of the Langhe, in La Morra, the company cultivates approximately 12 hectares of vineyards (including recent acquisitions) in prestigious locations: La Morra, Barolo, Verduno, and Serralunga d'Alba, with prime crus such as La Serra, Cerequio, and Monvigliero. The soils rich in Sant'Agata marl, sunny exposures, and altitude promote low yields, manual thinning, and absolute respect for the environment, to best express the unique terroir of the area.

The Wines of Voerzio Martini The range celebrates the classics of the Langhe with an approach that balances tradition and modernity (balanced use of barriques, tonneaux, and Austrian/Slovenian barrels):
