Grape variety

Bosco Pierangelo 's Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is produced with the Nebbiolo grape variety, in the vineyards of the municipality of La Morra, one of the most suitable areas for its cultivation. Known for its elegance and complexity, Nebbiolo offers a unique tasting experience.

Organoleptic characteristics

  • Color: intense ruby with garnet reflections.
  • Nose: on the nose, notes of ripe red fruit, dried flowers and spices can be recognized.
  • Taste: it is dry, harmonious and persistent, with soft tannins that give structure and longevity.
  • Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.

Food pairings

Langhe Nebbiolo DOC pairs perfectly with aged cheeses, grilled red meats and mushroom dishes. It is also an excellent companion for an evening of meditation.

Production method

The production of Langhe Nebbiolo DOC follows consolidated traditions. The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested manually at the end of October. After fermentation, the wine ages for at least 12 months in oak barrels, followed by 6 months of bottle aging.

Winemaking and Temperature

Spontaneous fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with indigenous yeasts. Maceration on the skins for 15 days. Aged in steel for 12 months.
