Valpolicella Superiore DOC Di Fugolo Gianluca is produced with Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, grown in the Valpolicella area, in the province of Verona. The calcareous soil and favorable exposure give the wine a particular elegance and complexity.

Production Method

The production of Valpolicella Superiore DOC involves fermentation at a controlled temperature to preserve the varietal characteristics. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for at least two years, which gives it a robust structure and a long persistence.

Organoleptic Characteristics

• Color: intense ruby red with garnet reflections
• Nose: hints of ripe red fruit, spices and toasted wood.
• Taste: it is full-bodied and velvety, with soft tannins and a long persistence.
• Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Pressing of dried grapes. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28°C; maceration for 15 days.
Aging: 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months and evolution of the wine in the bottle for 6 months.
