Gianluca Fugolo
The Fugolo Gianluca farm was founded in Pescantina, in the heart of the Valpolicella area, a few steps from Garda Lake.
The passion and love for the land were passed down to Gianluca thanks to the work and commitment of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is the great-grandfather who, during the difficult years of the Second World War, moved from Padua to Verona to work as a sharecropper in the hills of Valpolicella.
Grandfather Mario was the first to create a small family business with a stable, peaches and vineyards in the 60s.
Today Gianluca, following in his father's footsteps, runs the family farm with the same dedication and tenacity, growing peaches, vines and olive trees.
Four generations of farmers in our family, a family management with the aim of making our customers savor the true scent of the earth and its fruits.
The fifth generation, to whom I am passing on my same passion and vision of agriculture, are my daughters Michela and Sofia.
The two sisters started from the field managing the vineyard and the peach orchard owned with greater attention to nature and the environment arriving to certify the grapes and peaches Biodiversity friends through the use of organic fertilizers, integrated pest management and soil analysis with the control of the health status of the soil.
They created a line of wines that reflected the reality of their vineyards with only estate-grown grapes and working on the native grapes of the Valpolicella land.
From the most historic vineyards owned by the grandfather between 1967 and 1968, with vines well over 40 years old, they produce two rosé wines, a white Garganega and a pure Corvina.
The rosé winemaking is produced thanks to the Corvina and Molinara grapes from which a sparkling Rosé is born with a pleasant, captivating and non-invasive bubble.
A still rosé wine that lends itself culinaryly to accompany your summer dinners.
The white Garganega will captivate your sense of smell with fruity aromas and an aftertaste of nectarine peach.
The Corvina Veronese wine is instead the beginning of the history of the Fugolo company, the first vineyard planted by the grandfather in 1967 and the first wine to be produced by the new generation of the company. A fresh, fruity and characterful wine. A flexible wine that accompanies your dinners from appetizer to main course.
From the vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica area, they produce a Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC, which represents the strength, structure and aromas of a unique land.
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG and Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG are produced by the Fugolo Gianluca farm with much love for the territory and represent the best expression of their Valpolicella.
