The Freshness of Delle Venezie in a Glass

Discover Menicucci 2022 Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie DOC, a white wine that embodies the elegance and versatility of Triveneto's most beloved grape variety. Fresh, mineral, and immediately enjoyable, this Pinot Grigio represents the authentic expression of a territory dedicated to producing quality white wines.

The Story

Pinot Grigio is the symbolic grape variety of Northeast Italy, cultivated for centuries in the Venetian and Friulian lands. The DOC Delle Venezie denomination, established in 2017, encompasses the regions of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the province of Trento, a vast territory where Pinot Grigio finds ideal conditions to express freshness, minerality, and elegance.

Luca Menicucci, an experienced Tuscan producer, chose to vinify this Pinot Grigio from the best grapes of Triveneto, bringing his oenological sensibility to a different yet equally suitable territory. The result is a wine that combines the typicality of Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie with the artisanal care that distinguishes the Menicucci philosophy.

This 2022 Pinot Grigio stands out for its clean and fresh aromatic profile: notes of white flowers, green apple, pear, and citrus intertwine with delicate mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and medium-bodied, with a clean and persistent finish. Vinification in steel preserves the primary aromas of the grape variety and maintains that characteristic freshness that makes Pinot Grigio so versatile at the table.

Production Area

DOC Delle Venezie, a territory that extends between Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Trentino. The vineyards are located on predominantly alluvial and gravelly soils, rich in minerals, at an altitude between 50 and 300 meters above sea level. The climate is temperate, with alpine influences to the north and Adriatic influences to the east, which guarantee ideal temperature variations to preserve acidity and develop complex aromas.

The proximity to the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea creates a unique microclimate, with cool breezes that keep the grapes healthy and favor slow and gradual ripening. This territory is internationally recognized as one of the most suitable areas in the world for producing quality Pinot Grigio.
