Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC - The Elegance of Piedmont

Our Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC is a fine red wine produced in the hills of Alba, in Piedmont. This wine represents the essence of the Piedmontese winemaking tradition and Bosco Pierangelo 's passion for viticulture.

Vine and Territory

Produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, a native Piedmontese vine considered one of the noblest in Italy. The grapes come from vineyards located on the hills of Alba, where the marly-calcareous soil and the particular microclimate create the ideal conditions for the maturation of this demanding vine. Cultivation takes place in compliance with tradition and the environment, to guarantee a high-quality product.

Organoleptic Characteristics

  • Color: Bright ruby red with garnet hues
  • Nose: Broad and complex bouquet with notes of red fruits (cherry, raspberry), violet, rose and light hints of spices and liquorice
  • Taste: Elegant and harmonious, with fine and well-integrated tannins, good structure and persistence, long and pleasant finish
  • Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.

Food Pairings

Perfect with tasty first courses, mushroom risotto, red meats, game and medium-aged cheeses. It pairs splendidly with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as tajarin with ragù, braised meat and agnolotti. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.

Production Method

The grapes are hand-picked when they reach perfect ripeness. After a delicate pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature for about 10-12 days. It is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels, which gives the wine complexity and structure, while maintaining the varietal characteristics of the Nebbiolo grape intact.

A wine that tells the history and tradition of Alba, bringing the authentic aromas and flavours of Piedmont into the glass.

Winemaking and Temperature

Spontaneous fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with indigenous yeasts. Maceration on the skins for 15 days. Aged in steel for 12 months.

temperature: 18°
