The Story
Weingut Teutsch's 2020 Cabernet is born from the experience of a family that has diligently cultivated vines for generations. The Production Area
The grapes come from vineyards located in a hilly area characterized by well-drained soils rich in mineral elements. Moderate altitudes and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night promote slow and complete ripening, preserving freshness and aromatic complexity. The ventilated climate, along with careful vineyard management, allows for healthy, concentrated, and richly perfumed bunches.
Tasting Notes
Teutsch's 2020 Cabernet has an intense and deep ruby color.
On the nose, it offers a rich and layered bouquet: blackberry, blackcurrant, and ripe plum open the scene, followed by elegant spicy notes of pepper, cocoa, and subtle hints of sweet tobacco.
On the palate, it is enveloping, harmonious, with soft and well-integrated tannins. The structure is significant but balanced by a pleasant freshness that gives momentum to the sip. Fruity and spicy notes accompany a long, persistent, and finely balanced finish.
