Our Bovale "Isola dei Nuraghi" IGT Biologico is a fine red wine produced in Sardinia, a land rich in history and ancient winemaking traditions. This wine represents the essence of the Sardinian territory, with its unique and unmistakable characteristics.
Vine and Territory
Produced exclusively with Bovale grapes, a native Sardinian vine grown in the hills of the hinterland, where the calcareous-clayey soil and the Mediterranean climate create the ideal conditions for the ripening of the grapes. Certified organic cultivation guarantees respect for the environment and the genuineness of the product, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Organoleptic Characteristics
- Color: Intense ruby red with purple reflections
- Nose: Complex bouquet with notes of wild berries, myrtle, Mediterranean spices and light balsamic hints
- Taste: Full-bodied and enveloping, with soft and well-integrated tannins, good acidity and a long and persistent finish
- Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Food Pairings
Perfect with traditional Sardinian dishes such as roast lamb, Sardinian suckling pig, aged pecorino cheese and game. It also pairs beautifully with hard cheeses and typical cured meats. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
Production Method
The grapes are hand-picked when they reach perfect ripeness. After a delicate pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature. It is then aged for 6 months in oak barrels, which gives the wine complexity and structure.
A wine that tells the story and tradition of the Isola dei Nuraghi, bringing the authentic aromas and flavours of Sardinia into the glass.

The hand-picked grapes are selected, destemmed and left to macerate for a medium-long period in steel vats in order to extract the entire polyphenolic composition.
